NEWBURY LOWER GREEN -- SAVED!!!

Preservation Accomplished!
Essex County Greenbelt Association Executive Director, Edward Becker, confirmed last night while attending a reception at the Custom House Maritime Museum, that "Save the Lower Green" has successfully met their fundraising goal of $500,000 -- before their end of September deadline.
The rural landscape and pastoral character of Newbury’s Lower Green will indeed now be preserved -- in perpetuity!
Congratulations to everyone who contributed in any manner to this worthwhile cause.
