The 2010 Holiday House Tour - Success On So Many Levels!
If you were fortunate enough to be among the 1,000+ who attended in the 2010 Holiday House Tour on Saturday, December 11th, you know already what a truly rare and extraordinary event you experienced. And we hope you enjoyed it thoroughly!
Following a full week of early winter wind-driven cold, emerged a singularly perfect day of unusual calm and warming sunlight. It was the ideal setting for touring and appreciating a magnificent ensemble of elegant homes all wrapped in celebration of the peace and joy of the holiday season. It was, indeed, a day to remember.
With earnest and early financial support from our sponsor, Stone Ridge Properties, plus bold and steadfast courage from ten prominent homeowners willing to welcome hundreds of visitors on a mid-December day, a dedicated committee of motivated volunteers crafted an amazing and successful fundraising event in support of the Custom House Maritime Museum.
To our sponsor, to our homeowners, to our supporters and to the army of dedicated volunteers who made the 2010 Holiday House Tour the spectacular experience it was – the Board of Directors of the Custom House Maritime Museum offers you heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation for a job well done.
And to each and every one of the nearly one thousand individuals who attended this 2010 Holiday House Tour, making it the tremendous success that it was -- we extend you our gratitude for all your enthusiasm and support, wish you peace and happiness in abundance this holiday season -- and look forward to entertaining you again in 2011!
