Help support the Custom House Maritime Museum by joining the Newburyport Maritime Society, Inc. Your contribution keeps our region’s maritime heritage alive. We showcase over four centuries of maritime history. The Custom House Maritime Museum is a living landmark on Newburyport’s thriving downtown waterfront.
The Custom House may be over 170 years old, but we are dedicated to linking history with today’s world. Check out our calendar of events, which includes a monthly series with the International Business Coalition, on-going educational programs with local schools, participation in Earth Day events to protect our water resources, and more. We’re looking for members to help us preserve the past and enrich the future.
