on Sunday, April 28th
from 4:00 to 6:00 pm
Join us for High Tea in the Marquand Library on Sunday, April 28, 4:00-6:00. James Marquand, grandson of John P. Marquand, will read from his
up-coming novel, The Gold Watches, and literary biographer and critic Millicent Bell will be on hand to entertain questions about the writer whose best-selling fiction of the 1930s-1950s helped to put Newburyport on the literary map.
This event, held in conjunction with the
Newburyport Literary Festival and
is free and open to the public.
Seating is limited.
