Exploring connections to national and world history through the lives of Newburyport sons Adolphus Greely, William Nichols, Caleb Cushing and Theophilus Parsons

Newburyport's history in many ways is United States history -- and even world history.  From this major port of entry in a young and aspiring nation, rose Newburyport citizens who served their community, their state and their country not only in distinguished fashion, but in ways that captured world attention and merit.

Come meet these four sons of Newburyport and discover the military, political, judicial and diplomatic marks they left in history.
