The Custom House Maritime Museum is pleased to present a special event for St. Patrick’s Day: The Colonial Tavern Experience, an interactive program that will immerse you into the spirit of an 18th-century tavern.

Colonial Tavern Experience - March 17thCome and experience the life and times of colonial taverns, their keepers and the villagers who could be found within those sacred dens of iniquity during the period of the American Revolutionary War -- and the important cultural role both played and fulfilled by local taverns.

For your refreshment, we will serve a a variety of tavern snacks, plus a selection of wines generously provided by New England Wine and Spirits along with fine craft beers from  Newburyport Brewery -- the official beer of the Custom House Maritime Museum!

An historic live music experience awaits you. Be prepared to sing, clap and laugh, within a seaport tavern atmosphere this St. Patrick’s day!
