Dearborn's Company visits the Custom House Maritime Museum

Dearborn’s Company provides an historical combination of exhibits, shows, and hands-on activities -- a perfect "edu-tainment" opportunity for all ages!

Dearborn’s Company takes you back to the life and culture of the 18th century where you can see hundreds of reproduced artifacts in action through demonstrations involving: camp life, clothing, flags, scouting, surgeons and medicine, cooking, laundering, documents, music, games, furnishings, tools, military drills, gunsmiths and weapons. We are living historians who truly bring the past to life!

When the American Revolution began, Henry Dearborn of Nottingham New Hampshire, organized, trained and led a group of 60-plus local men off to battle the British. As a Captain, Dearborn led the group of militia men to Boston, the Battle of Bunker Hill, following the orders of Colonel John Stark’s First New Hampshire Regiment.Dearborn's Company visits the Custom House Maritime Museum

Today, Capt. Henry Dearborn's Company is all about re-enacting life during the 18th Century, with historic representations of America's colonial past, demonstrating the culture of colonial times from the New Hampshire Seacoast to New York, Vermont and the Canadian border.
