Music of the Sea

The Custom House Maritime Museum will host a unique spring Sunday afternoon recital by students of the Penny Lazarus Piano Studio of Newburyport, titled Music of the Sea.

Beginning at 1:00pm, students will perform sea chanteys, historic music from the voyage of the Titanic and assorted pieces exploring oceanic themes, providing a picturesque maritime performance for museum-goers and audience members alike.

Local maritime artist, Rob Brun, will also be on hand to provide a nautically themed painting demonstration during the recital.

Join us for this special recital performance and maritime art demonstration in the great Moseley Gallery Hall of Ships -- or simply enjoy the splendor of Music of the Sea as you tour the museum.
